There is no fixed pattern to follow in the selection of bearing type. When selecting a bearing type to adapt to a specific installation position and application conditions, it is recommended to consider the following main factors comprehensively:
1. According to load and size
First, select the appropriate bearing type according to the load bearing direction and size of the bearing, and then select the appropriate bearing from the corresponding type of bearing size table according to the size of the matching shaft or bearing seat.
2. According to the gap, temperature and use environment
The selection of the clearance involves the service conditions of the bearing, the bearing speed, temperature, and fit tolerance, which are directly related to the selection of the bearing clearance. For example, motors with a speed below 3500 rpm usually use CM clearance, and high-temperature and high-speed motors require a larger clearance. Of course, when special environments such as high temperature, low temperature, and vacuum are involved, there are also corresponding special bearing options.
3. According to grease and seal
Next is the choice of bearing grease: the choice of oil is generally considered from factors such as bearing speed, temperature resistance, noise requirements and starting torque. Considering the sealing of the bearing, the lubrication of the bearing can be divided into oil lubrication and grease lubrication. Oil-lubricated bearings generally use open bearings, and grease-lubricated bearings generally use dust covers or rubber seals.
Above, in consideration of performance indicators such as bearing life, load capacity, speed, temperature limit, etc., if more than one bearing meets the requirements, the bearing with the best economical and comprehensive performance should be selected.
