Electric Motor Manufacturing Industry
In recent years, the equipment manufacturing industry has consistently received policy support from the state. The motor, pump, and fan equipment manufacturing sectors are poised for significant development opportunities. With accelerated growth in domestic environmental protection, chemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, power, oil and gas, agriculture, and other industries—alongside major infrastructure projects—demand for pumps and motors will continue to expand. The market is expected to remain highly dynamic in the coming years, driven by robust demand and promising prospects.1

Advances in technology have broadened the application scope of micro special motors, extending to national economies, defense equipment, and daily life. Electric-driven scenarios increasingly rely on micro motors, with high-efficiency, energy-saving, and eco-friendly motors gaining market traction. Future demand in China will focus on AC single-phase motors for household appliances, DC brushed low-power motors, and high-precision variants like brushless DC motors, stepper motors, coreless motors, and disc-wound motors. Additionally, industries such as automotive, medical devices, instruments, cameras, and toys show rising demand for micro motors, highlighting vast market potential.4 ‌Notably, critical components like bearings—supplied by specialized manufacturers such as ‌NINGBO KENT BEARING‌ CO., LTD.—underpin this innovation wave.

New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Industry
Developing and promoting NEVs is a national strategic priority, essential for China’s automotive sustainability and the industry’s future direction. Against a global low-carbon backdrop, NEVs have entered an explosive growth phase. In 2021, China’s NEV production and sales exceeded 3.5 million units, securing its position as the global leader for seven consecutive years. By 2025, global NEV sales are projected to reach ~18 million units, with China contributing ~10 million units. NEVs, bearing the dual mission of automotive industry transformation and green transportation, are ushering in a new era of scaled development.2

Changzhou, designated as an NEV promotion city by China’s MIIT and three other ministries, is a key NEV industrial base in Jiangsu Province and the Suwan Modernization Demonstration Zone. According to Changzhou’s NEV plan, the city aims to achieve 600,000 units in NEV production and sales by 2025, with an industrial scale of RMB 400 billion.
