Deep groove ball bearing has its own limitations due to its body structure characteristics:
1. Anti-eccentricity ability
General deep groove ball bearings have very limited eccentric adjustment ability, generally within the range of less than 10 arc minutes. This eccentricity is brought about by its own structure and clearance, and is not reserved for application conditions. Therefore, it is not recommended that electrical engineers use this eccentricity capability.
2. Damage in bearing installation
Deep groove ball bearing internal is point contact, so it is very easy to be injured in the installation process. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid raceway damage caused by the installation force through the rolling body when the motor bearing is installed.
3. Temperature limit
Generally, the heat treatment dimension stability temperature of deep groove ball bearings without special instructions is 120 degrees Celsius. Therefore, deep groove ball bearings are not suitable for operating under conditions higher than this temperature.
At the same time, when choosing deep groove ball bearings under high temperature conditions, it is also necessary to consider the temperature limits of lubricants, cages and seals.
4. Application under vibration conditions
Deep groove ball bearings are easy to cause damage to raceways and rolling bodies under vibration conditions, so deep groove bearings will meet certain challenges under vibration conditions.
However, this does not prevent deep groove ball bearings from being good motor bearings.
