The processing technology of bearings is to complete the realization process of bearing products, including the processing process of parts and the assembly process of products, it is through different processing methods, directly change the size, shape and performance of raw materials, so that it becomes the finished product process to meet the requirements. The process flow of bearing processing is as follows:
1.forging processing
Forging processing is the primary processing of bearing ring processing, also known as blank processing. The main purpose of ring forging is:
(a) To obtain a blank similar to the shape of the product, thereby improving the utilization rate of metal materials, saving raw materials, reducing the amount of mechanical processing, and reducing costs.
(b) Eliminate the inherent defects of the metal, improve the metal organization, make the metal streamline distribution reasonable, the metal tightness is good, so as to improve the service life of the bearing.
2.Annealing
The main purpose of the ring annealing is: the nodular annealing of high carbon chromium bearing steel is to obtain the organization of fine, small, uniform and round carbide particles uniformly distributed on the ferritic matrix, and prepare the organization for later cold working and final quenching and tempering.
3.turning processing
Turning processing is the semi-finished product processing of bearing rings, which can also be said to be forming processing. The main purposes of turning are:
(a) Make the processed ring exactly the same shape as the final product.
(b) Create favourable conditions for subsequent grinding.
4.Heat treatment
Heat treatment is the key process to improve the internal quality of bearings. The main purpose of heat treatment is:
(a) The microstructure of the material is transformed by heat treatment to improve the mechanical properties of the material.
(b) Improve the bearing internal quality (wear resistance, strength and toughness), thereby improving the bearing life. For high-carbon chromium bearing steel Gcr15SiMn, the heat treatment includes quenching and low temperature tempering.
5.grinding processing
Grinding processing is the final processing in the processing of bearing rings and rollers, known as finished product processing.
The main purposes of grinding are:
(a) Make the dimensional accuracy and shape accuracy of the ring meet the design requirements.
(b) Supply of qualified ferrules and rings for bearing assembly.
6.bearing assembly
Bearing assembly is the last process of bearing production, which has an important effect on bearing performance. The main purpose of bearing assembly is:
(a) Assembly of multi-process parts (outer rings, inner rings, rollers and cages) into bearing products.
(b) According to different technical requirements, assembled into a variety of precision, a variety of clearance and other special requirements of bearing products.
